Dušan Perniš (born 28 November 1984) is a Slovak football goalkeeper currently playing for Iraklis in the Greek Superleague. Perniš has been capped for Slovakia at senior level. ==Playing career== Perniš began his professional football career at FC Nitra, which at the youth team, before moving to Dubnica at age of eighteen. However, at start of the beginning at Dubnica, Perniš spent time on the bench, but soon in a few seasons on, Perniš soon became a regular goalkeeper in the first team. In the 2004-05 season, Perniš made thirty two appearance and the club would finish fourth place, which also earned them a place in Europe. Following two wins against Hungarian side Vasas and Turkish side Ankaraspor in Europe, the club would face English side Newcastle United. Perniš was in goal for match, but they proved to be too strong and failed to win either legs losing 3-1 and 2-0 respectively. In the January transfer window, Perniš would join MŠK Žilina. At Žilina, Perniš soon fight the first choice with Dušan Kuciak, but lost. The next season, Perniš left Senec on loan and stayed there four months before returning to his parent club, where he made 22 appearance. At the end of 2006/07 season, the club () would win the league. After his first loan, Perniš would return to Dubnica, on loan once again, the team he started his football career and spent there for 18 months. During his return, Perniš made 43 appearance. Upon his return from Dubnica, Perniš established himself in the first team, following the sale of Kuciak to Vaslui and made 32 appearance. During in which, Perniš played all the club's European campaign, including a 2-1 win over Aston Villa on the last group-stage match. At the end of the season, which was his return, the club would finish second place. It was then that Perniš was the club's first choice goalkeeper until he left the club.
